Vince Mottern- President/Composer and Performer 

Vicent Mottern holds a BM in Music Education from the Westmister Choir College in Princeton, NJ.  His experiences there included performances with notable orchestras such as the New York Philharmonic and the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra as well as touring opportunities with Julie Andrews , Christopher Plummer and Charlotte Church.   Vincent has had teaching experience in grades K-12 general music, chorus and choir and has taught a number of private students studying piano, voice and song writing.  He was the artistc director for a children's theater in which he directed more than thirty musicals.   Vincent has held church music positions as well, including choir leader, children's music director and director of music.   Vincent has been writing songs and composing original music for ten years.

 

Lynne Frishkorn – Vice President / Illustrator

Lynne is our illustrator.   She is an avid horsewoman and animal-lover.  She works in a veterinary hospital, has a number of her own “critters” and regularly volunteers with a horseback-riding program for disabled children.  Lynne works in multiple media and has been commissioned to do a number of pet portraits.  She has designed two series of Christmas ornaments and remains committed to hand-painting each one.  She and her husband live in Pennsylvania, close to their daughter and grandson.

Linda Mottern – Secretary and Treasurer

Linda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education and a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania.  She taught Biology and General Science to grades seven through twelve over a five-year teaching career and served as coach and/or judge for Debate, Academic Decathlon and Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science.  She sat on local Scholarship and Band Parents Boards and taught nursery-aged bible school children for ten years.  Linda is the mother of two and grandmother of one and is currently working the field of Finance.
